HOW TO MAKE COPPER WATER

Copper Water And Its Benefits In Maintaining Health

For thousand of years copper have been used in Ayurveda and many other healing traditions, so it is widely known that copper has benefits for the human body. Ayurveda suggest using a copper vessel to store water overnight and to drink this as soon as one gets up the next morning. When I am not traveling I am personally doing this every day.

It is also scientifically demonstrated that as natural property copper doesn’t allow the growing of bacteria on its surface.

Controlled laboratory tests demonstrate that certain viruses and bacteria are inhibited by copper plumbing tube. For example; Polio Virus, E-coli O157, and Legionella Pneumophilia. Copper is ten times more effective at controlling Legionella pneumophilia, a cause of legionnaires’s disease, than PEX (cross linked polyethylene). A new study undertaken by KIWA, the Dutch water quality research institute, simulated domestic usage of different hot water systems for just under one year. Results demonstrated that the Legionella concentration in the water of copper pipes was ten times less than in cross-linked polyethylene pipes (PEX).

Numerous antimicrobial efficacy studies have been conducted in the past 10 years regarding copper’s efficacy to destroy a wide range of bacteria, as well as influenza A virus, adenovirus, and fungiCopper-alloy touch surfaces have natural intrinsic properties to destroy a wide range of microorganisms (e.g. E. coli O157:H7, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Staphylococcus, Clostridium difficileinfluenza A virus, adenovirus, and fungi). Some 355 copper alloys were proven to kill more than 99.9% of disease-causing bacteria within just two hours when cleaned regularly. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copper#Antimicrobial_applications

First recognized in the 1870's as a normal constituent of blood, copper is a trace mineral that plays an important role in our metabolism, largely because it allows many critical enzymes to function properly. Copper plays an important part in the following process:
- Iron Utilization - Elimination of Free Radicals - Development of Bone & Connective Tissue - Melanin Production

Copper is utilized by the body for various physiological functions like RBC synthesis, protein metabolism, enzyme activity and benefits the nervous and circulatory systems and bone health.

two easy way to make copper purified water:

If you don’t like to wait for all night as ayurveda suggest or you cannot carry with you your copper vessel, then you can easily get the same result in two different ways.

  • Instead of putting the water in the copper vessel, you can just put one cleaned copper coin into one cup of water (ceramic or glass), cover it and leave it overnight.
  • Wash well with clean water one or two copper coins (from 10 to 30 grams weight). In a steel vessel (do not use aluminum or other metals), put two cups of fresh & clean water. Drop the metal in this water and keep the water for boiling. Keep boiling the water till one cup of water remain. Remove the metal from the water and strain this water through a fine cloth.
The resultant water is copper purified water. You can drink one cup of this slightly warm copper water every morning.
